Im sorry for the delayed post my dear little fashion ponies, but with finals I was a stressed little pony! But, since I have a 2 hour wait in the airport, lets wish we could've been wearing our finest to the Met gala and dish on everyone else... so lets do it!
Lets do a quick review of my faves... I'll dedicate a whole other post for the ones that were so hideous that do not deserve to be in this one...honestly, lets celebrate those who actually know how to work it...specially in an event like THE CFDA MET GALA (P.S. Did I mention I will be at the CFDA awards? Well not really the award ceremony, but at the rehearsal and the run through!!! SO EXCITED!!! Anyway...).
So The Met Gala for me is one of those events when you really have to step up your game, this is not just an award ceremony (not putting them down or anything), but come on, this is a fashion event by the council of fashion designers...it's got to be THE event of the year... so let's see who made it on this list...
Freida Pinto in Chanel
HOW AMAZING IS THIS DRESS...I loooooved it... sooo original! Check out the draped shoulders and the collar, GENIUS!!! I mean... I can even picture Mr. Langerfeld on it... (wrong in so many levels)!!
Rosie Huntington Whitely in Burberry
Looooved this dress, of course only a girl with Rosie's body could pull this dress off... Honestly Chris, not all of us have that body...but it looks AH-MA-ZING on her!!
Ciara in Prabal Gurung
This dress totally took my breath away! Loved the degrade and the beading... and it looked great with her skin tone don't you think!
Gwyneth Paltrow in Stella McCartney
Honestly, what did this woman do... she looks SO FREAKING HOT! Did she do a pact with the devil? And the dress... WOW, I got goose bumps when I saw it... chic in all it's expression! (No Miss Leah Michelle, I'm SO not talking about you)
Ashley Greene in Donna Karan
I actually gasped when I saw this dress... I had been waiting for it because I follow @dkny on twitter and there was a lot of hype about the dress...well NO WONDER!!! It actually deserves an extra shot... here's the back of the dress...simply GORGEOUS!
And now...being that this Met Gala was ALL about Alexander McQueen (goose bumps while I'm writing this...kinda freaky), my favorites in McQueen are:

Sarah Jessica Parker
Florence Welch, during her performance
And last but definitely not least:
DAPHNE GUINNESS
For me she looked amazing and was for sure the best dressed of the night... By the way, if you missed it (or had no clue), here is the video of her performance at Barney's window display!
(If you have no clue, she actually dressed for the gala at one of Barney's windows display, it was quite a performance!)
So there you have it little ponies, those in my opinion were THE best dressed of the night... what do you think...am I leaving anyone out?
