One of the strongest trends this spring summer is color blocking... if you followed the shows last September or if you've been putting attention to your fashion magazines, you have at least seen some of the advertisements that show this trend... like Gucci or Jill Sander. If you haven't, then please check it out.
Lets start by defining color blocking, in simple words is putting together an outfit with more than 2 solid colors ... think LEGO blocks.
Some tips for color blocking:

- Stick to colors that don't look that much like each other, try to make the colors POP.
- AVOID LOOKING LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE by combining red and green.
- Try to keep the blocking up to 3 colors. If you want to do more colors try doing it with the accesories, like your purse, shoes or bangles.
- Put on the brightest colors where you want the eyes to go.

As you can see, THE BRIGHTER THE BETTER, of course, this is not the simplest trend, you have to be careful, and secure, because you surely are going to turn some heads... but that is not always a bad thing!
